i`m not a big fan of ratings on these,

a person can have a gripe, have a poor set up of Ctrader (no VPS), poor internet connection, not understand the funding requirements well enough,

have the wrong leverage etc.. Then blame the indicator.

I prefer to check over the statistics myself personally and make my own informed judgement. Did this trader add funds during the campaign, what is their risk management like, how many trades, real earnings etc.. Then forward test on a demo account for a week or two. Ease in with small leverage and low Lot size. Its really the only way to know.

RE: RE:

I`m also noticing the filled trades pop ups are still small, they dont change to the font size adjustments,

first image is trade entry (which does adjust but only a little) , below that is the historical trade pop ups, they remain the same size.

on TradingView its worth buying a big screen because you can maximize the size of your charts and trade tabs are clear, as with x and y scale readings.

good for day trading and scalping. And again Y scale price changes are in equal divisions, easier to do mental price calculations like this. Something for the future in Ctrader.

HI Panagiotis, I`m using ctrader web, i`m not seeing the same interface though, presuming web is always the latest, I have reloaded the platform, same results.

The font size adjusts panel fonts but not the ability to zoom into the chart closer, would be nice as well to set equal/fixed level blocks too at some stage like this

10 pip blocks, or 50 etc. based on pushing pulling the Y scale as in tradingView, allows easier eyeballing of bar prices and pips.

LIQUIDITY PROVIDERS AND OTHER BROKERS

Thats troubling to hear (the  late closure of positions) LP`s should be held accountable, but how do you spank the casino?

I use icmarkets and pepperstone, give them a go, icmarkets have a lot of liquidity providers as do pepperstone. Let us know how it goes!.

ICMarkets has BTC/USD with two decimal places and when I tried to change the TP to more than $5000 I got an error.

ICMarkets says it is coded into cTrader. Can this limit please be removed or substancially increased?

The main issue is when running a cBot if the TP or SL is more than this limit then the TP or SL wont be set and could result in a trade without a SL.

While I was able to manually set the TP to the price I wanted when the price went down, when it went back up I couldn't change the SL as the TP was more than 500,000 pips.

This also applies to cTrader Desktop.

have you emailed icmarkets? support@icmarkets.com or use their chat option. However their .jpg uploader doesnt work, you`ll need to use lightshot to send them a link or your google drive if you have one.

Please refer to screen shot whereby the summary of total trades and total profits are totally DIFFERENT.

NOTE:  Selection of date was 1/Oct/2020 to 31/Oct/2020 UPPER screen and Lower screen

Net Profit=$111.60 vs $104.54

Total trades=175 vs 163

MORE discrepancy even throughout the 2 stats, total long trades/total shorts trades/total loss trades

Summary from 1Oct2020 to 31Oct2020

When the default selection "current month" is selected the stats tally

Net Profit, Total trades

Current Month Stats

RE: BTC?USD is not found

To trade bitcoin on weekends, use pepperstone.com

Their 1 lot is = 10 cents.

spread around 15 pips.

icmarkets.com

spread 5 pips

1 lot is = 0.01 cent.

However icmarkets have no weekend trading and charts do not update weekend data on Mondays. So if you want weekend trading go to pepperstone and use their Ctrader portal.

Is CTrader not a full time portal?

If it is a Broker Issue, who is the broker?

ok great so the files are decrypted once I compile them from my source code into the .algo file for the vps. Do I need to install Ctrader on the vps as well or just upload the .algo file?

Hi EagleMoxy,

No it doesn't. You obfuscate dll files that can can be decompiled, just to make the life of the perpetrator a bit harder. There is no point to obfuscate encrypted files.

RE:

ah ok brilliant, that makes sense now. At 1 lot, each pip is 1 cent.

Pip values USD.

1 lot = 0.01 cent USD

10 LOTS = .10 CENTS

100 LOTS = $1.00 USD.

1000 LOTS = $10.00 USD

Mini lot .1 = $0.001 cents (1/1,000th of a cent)

Micro lot 0.01 = 0.0001 cents (1/10,000th of a cent)

thats IC MARKETS via cTrader.

On Pepperstone they offer 1 LOT at 10 CENTS.

So its not one size fits all...
