Today cTrader desktop has had an update, to 5.0.21, but the same problem is still there.

Best regards,

Lisandro.

Just use SLs execution on "Opposite Side of Trade", and problem solved. No more SLs activated at the end of the day when spreads widen and your account will still be protected in case of a catastrophe.

Please implement this Spotware. The community will really appreciate it.

Hi, Not that I am aware off. There may be a server limit to prevent some kind of abuse but I have not encountered such a limit.

I have sent orders exceeding 80 orders to move sl with every tick and all messages get sent fine. I have sent hundreds of requests every second or less

and have never seen any throttling or any kind of maximum requests message.

Thank you very much for your answer. I was thinking because I want to update the SL a lot of times per second with a cBot, so your answer clarifies this.

RE: RE:

Yes, I am aware of your proposal and I up-voted it. I just wanted to put it again to raise attention at Spotware. Thanks for your comment.

Is it possible to program a cBot/system to do walk-forward testing for algos on cTrader? Or is Spotware considering adding this feature to the platform in the near future?

yes, i weirdly proposed an approach for this in this thread:

it's definitely a must have in my opinion. might be worth upvoting that thread also, plus adding some further commentary..
