RE: symbol data export

Hi there,

You can get the symbols through FIX API using the Security List message. See below

https://help.ctrader.com/fix/specification/#security-list-request-msgtype35x

Best regards,

Panagiotis

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I am aware of that, but I am not getting important info such as commission, lot size, etc…. These are essensial info for trading.

Hi there,

Please try live.tools4b.1001580

Best regards,

Panagiotis

It works. Thank you. Is there a way to figure thisone out myself?

The cTrader application shows incorrect values, but I was wondering if the correct connection data can be found somewhere else.

Unfortunately no, we are looking at the issue

I had this issue before, and was because i open ctrader on vps and give me different values then open on computer. The broker urb was wrong…
BTW do not deposit on otet markets since they are a scam and don't process withdrawals…i requested a month ago and no sucess

Yes, one of my trading buddy has the same issue. They are indeed scam. If I use ct.ctrader.com, it seems to provide the right data btw.

Dear trader,

Thank you for reporting this issue. Can you please let us know the broker you are using and the account number?

Best regards,

It is ANANDA, 1000157.

Hi Support,

So is the issue on the broker side, not on mine?

Ahh, I see that it is not supported despite the fact that it is in the xml. :-( It would be nice to get an update on this.

RE:

Thanks for looking into this. You were right. I had exported the data from the demo account before I opened my live account so I was comparing demo to live. It seems that there is a difference between demo and live contract specifications.

Hi,

Different types of symbols can have different types of commissions, you can fine commission types here: Models - cTrader Open API (spotware.github.io)

To correctly interpret a position/trade commission amount you have to know first what kind of commission the symbol uses.

Then based on symbol commission type you know what a position commission value represents, for symbols that uses PercentageOfValue you can get the actual percentage by dividing the position commission value to 100000.

In your case: 17500 / 100000 = 0.175

Thank you for the quick reply. I did check your models link before and I didn't find it anywhere that the amount should be divided by 10^5. I can only see 10^8 for non percentage types.
