Is it not possible to save the desktop anymore?

 

 

Every update is a nightmare for me :(

Heck no!

It is a nightmare everytime cTrader updates. Since there is update, indicators stop showing, loading slowliness peak to the ceiling and other anoying side effects for those who just want to trade and not use robots or other kind of makeup.

 

Is there a way to have a Light version of the application that will not have bots and all those things that make it heavy? 

 

Ps.: All indicators used that simply stop showing up are native (Stochastic and Time Series moving averages).

Can you please tell how in the world you are able to create a chart for on instrument, say DAX, draw up a bunch of lines at particular levels; then save/copy this chart including its drawings so it can be imported onto a new chart of the same pair.

This really should not be difficult.. It is a huge pain in the arse to draw lines on multiple charts over and over and over and over again.

Excuse my anger but the lack of simple feature wastes so much of time, I've had enough and will need to change platforms again.

I have the same pain with cTrader. The platform is very user friendly however it seems to me they shifted their focus to Algo trading instead of having the basics done right (like tradingview does). Probably they are more focused in volume trading (for commisions, etc), instead of manual trading. Some basic features are been requested for at least 7 years and update after update they negleted this request - Im talking about R:R Tool). Last update there was not a single improvement for who dont use algo trading and it was very dissapointing, at least for me.

For Windows version yes, a believe I sent 2 plus annoying you here in the forum. For the Mac I don't think so, I will do it so once I get home later tonight.

I have the same problem too but noticed that if I don't change timeframes I don't get the problem of indicators disappearing. Could you also try this and report back please.

Yes man, I'm experiencing issues like you mentioned since beggining of this month (I have been reporting them since day 1). After the update it got wild, and since then I cannot stay one single day with the platform open througout the day because suddenly indicators stop working, btw all built-in indicators. Then I have to restart the blessed updated platform. It's been hard to work like that.

I honestly don't know where the Product Manager had his head, if you walk thru the suggestion page there is not a single suggestion implemented in this update and I keep asking myself, why do they even have this suggestion page if they never listen to it? There is a suggestion to implement Risk Reward tool since 2017, can you believe it?

 

Let's see how this hotfix comes after all this complaints raised in here.

This issue has been reported before the update, since the beginning of the month. I myself have opened 2 reports at the platform for this same issue but with no reply back.

 

How many more tickets will be needed to fix this problem?

I can't afford to optimize in such long duration. I am seriously thinking of reverting back to Ctrader 4.8 ( not sure why my Ctrader was actually foreced to update ) !!

Thank you for your prompt reply as usual. I have been reporting this since last week (2 times here in the forum and 2 times with a ticket I cannot track since I have not received any confirmation email about it.

Yesterday I have formatted my PC to see if it gets better as yesterday the platform was so slow I have close my entries as I could not follow the price. For instance, I have shifted my SL on the entry I have attached here, the price touched my SL and have not closed the position, a complete mess, no confidence to trade like that.

Thank you for tracking this issue. After installing windows from scratch the platform seems to be more stable. I will keep monitoring and will raise a ticket in case and report here so you can track.
