RE:

That is good news. Thanks for letting us know, Amusleh. We appreciate it. By the way:

1) I understand that the version that includes Fibonacci is still not released. Would you be kind enough to let us know in this thread once you have released it? It will be useful also for people that come later to this thread.

2) It would still be great if the drawing tool (Fibonacci Retracement) of the platform is updated. That will make it easier for new users and also avoid the need of loading a extra indicator on the chart.

Thanks!

Now that cTrader has added the 'Smart Chart Search' it would be easy to implement there. Just type the date in a predetermined format (i.e. 24-03-21) and the active chart should jump to that location.

Something easy to program and a feature that should be embedded in the platform.

I definitely agree. This suggestion has been presented recently in another thread. Please vote it here, to get it done:

This is definitely a basic characteristic that needs to be added.

Using Fibonacci means a LOT of lines on the screen. It is really necessary to be able to customize each line (at least the colour and thickness of it).

This is very easy to implement and makes the tool more professional and useful.

Looking forward to seeing this implemented soon.

RE:

Hello Panagiotis,

Thank you for your quick reply. I agree with you; it is a common way to close a browser tab.

Having said that, closing a browser tab usually doesn't lead to losing any unsaved information. In a trading platform, a chart can have quite an amount of analysis, in the form of drawing objects (support, resistance, pivots, targets, trendlines, etc). And it is very unlikely that traders need a way to quickly close a chart. In line with other professional trading platforms, in my humble opinion, at least 1 of the following options should exist:

1) disable wheel click to close chart

2) prompt before closing chart (as you have when closing cTrader)

3) possibility to save the chart

All the 3 options address basically the same issue (accidentally closing a chart). I mentioned number 1 here (ant not as Suggestion to vote) as I thought of it as a glitch (being it in a trading platform instead of a browser).

All that said, I appreciate your assistance and hope these couple of posts will be helpful for new users that may experience the same.

Kind regards.

Very true. Specially for scalpers, that need to enter and exit quickly (and therefore, click quickly).

To simply being able to disable the reverse and double position buttons would be a quick fix (putting them somewhere else might require more work)

This is a much needed aspect for any trader that is putting orders on the chart. Since he looks at the chart to pinpoint where the orders should be placed, it would make sense that all orders (entry, stop loss and take profit) are executed by the price on the chart (bid price).

Currently, the spread needs to be taken into account any time an order is put on the chart.
