Installed todays update. Still have disappearing indicators.

Hi,

Just to add to my report submitted just now. 

Here's a screen shot.

If you don't change timeframes you don't lose your indicators. Soon as you change timeframes they all go on all charts.

I have the same problem too but noticed that if I don't change timeframes I don't get the problem of indicators disappearing. Could you also try this and report back please.

Indicators disappearing also with last update

Hi, I have the same issue.

I have reinstalled a repair from the spotware website this morning and still have the problem.

The problem takes about 5mins to happen. Then I have to close ctrader and open ctrader and its back to normal but then they disappear again after 5mins.

--Just noticed after a ctrader restart that everything was fine until I changed the timeframe on 1 chart then the indicators disappeared on all charts. I think this is the problem because I restarted ctrader again and haven't changed timeframes, ctrader still has all indicators displaying after 2hrs. 

– Update, its probably about 8hrs now and the indicators are still displaying. The problem is definitely something to do with switching timeframes on a chart.

 

I have submitted a ticket through my ctrader.

Indicators not displaying

I have the same problem after installing the new update today from icmarkets.

I have restarted my computer, downloaded new indicators from ctrader and also click algo and still no difference? If I try to load a template or Indicator from list all indicators do not show. All indicators were displaying fine and working prior to the new update.

Yes that's fine. I'll do that.

I deleted a couple of instances of free bots that I had downloaded from ctrader site coz I thought maybe it was them causing the problems.

But that hasn't changed anything. Still really high memory use again. So I do have instances of click algo bots loaded but not activated as you could see in the pics I sent.

I watched ctrader memory use over a few hours yesterday before going to bed it seemed fine over that time the memory was not higher than 600mb. But over night it maxed again. I have my computer set to never sleep while on power. Would it be something to do with it being inactive?

Hi there is 100% no bots running. Not unless ctrader is running them it self. I checked the Automate section bots and indicators to make sure nothing was on before I left ctrader running over night to test memory use.

Task manager from 20 08

Hi This is from the 20th I had charts open from the previous day the Memory was maxed out. I started click algo memory manager which knocked the Memory right down. So I left ctrader for an hour and came back and the Memory was maxed out again.

Ram usage

Hi Amusleh, Thank you for your message. There was clickalgo switchback play button on each chart but not activated. I have removed these and also the few HMA's I had on the charts. I'll post here tomorrow with results.

Hi Amusleh. Still the same issue today the 21st  August my charts are totally naked now and still the same issue.

Hi ctrader becomes unresponsive with 7 charts open with HMA on a couple of them.

Hi, any ideas how to fix the memory issue?

It happens with just charts open. ctrader will get to 5000mb within 6hrs. Faster with click algo bots running. Click algo memory manager bot cant control the memory use either. It still gets maxxed out.

Same Ctrader memory issue

Hi I have the same issue. It is recent as well. Probably about 2 months. Even the click algo memory manager can't control the ctrader memory use. It does good for a while an keeps Memory down. I set Memory manager to 800mb with click algo bots running but after a few hours it blows out to 5000mb. All the money I have spent on Click algo bots is wasted because ctrader is no longer functional. 

The Memory over usage problem seems to have been with ctrader for a number of years there are quite a few posts about it.

I have the Memory problem even when I have just charts open no indicators no bots running. The bots will speed up the Ram consumption but ctrader will get to the same unresponsive point either way.

I have spoken to Paul owner of Click Algo he said my computer should be fine to run ctrader. i5 3.2ghz cpu 8gig ddr3 ram.
