Hi Jiggytrade,
To utilize all cores, you can apply this workaround and you should be fine.

Hi Jiggytrade,
I am currently using a Ryzen 5 and optimization runs fine.

Hi, thanks for replying,. i had heard that although it runs ok, Ctrader wasn't utilizing all available cpu cores 100%, ( they were reporting between 15% and 25 %) meaning it was taking longer to complete than it really should.. I plan on getting Ryzen 7 5800x seeing as Ryzen 9 is not available or i may get a previous gen Ryzen 5900x/5950X so thats at least 8 cores or up to 16 cores. Anyone have any experience running more cores and are you getting high utilization.

RE: There are options ?
There are plenty of options .. including Equity,.. you just select the "Add Criteria"

Hi Martin_I,
Equity is not available as an optimization criterion but you can always develop your own custom fitness function.

YES YES YES !!,.. same thing goes for whenever you use the Stop Loss and TP sliders and then try to amend the % Balance risk, it simply moves the Stop Loss further away or closer but keeps the lot size the same. This is counter intuitive to how traders utilise this function. Ideally we want to set our Stop to a place on the chart whereby we think our trade is invalidate if price reaches it,... we also want to define a certain risk profile to that distance between the Stop/Entry normally in % or Fixed Amount,... therefore the system moving the SL for order entry doesnt make sense.
Please Please Please incorporate this feature,... i have seen numerous requests for this to be implemented on the platform for years, either via an additional Risk/Reward tool similar to TradingView, but the addition requested here would surely be easier to implement.

RE: TradingView Charting cTrader Trading

Would like to see a standalone trading platform where you can choose to use either cTrader or a TradingView chart but the data feed and all the trading is with your existing cTrader broker. We have created a proof of concept cBot to demonstrate how it would work, the interface is a basic mock-up and the final version would be a modern user interface. At this stage, we are just gathering community feedback to see if the trader would find this a useful tool.
Please vote by clicking on the thumb below if you would like to see this made a reality.

Similar to others comments, i would love to be able to trade via the trading view charts,.. i have a TV account and much prefer the charting and the overall look and feel. The main thing for me is can i link it to my existing TV account,.. will any lines i draw stay on their or will they go once i log-out , and can i use the buy/sell tool etc.

Its been asked for many times but there seems to be a reluctance to add it to the ctrader toolbox. There are a couple of third party offerings that do this. or you can use magic keys . See links below :
