Can you please let us know your email address?

Can I send it to your account or do I have to post it publicly on this forum?

Hi NE539,

Execution issues should be investigated by your broker.

Yes, but can you provide some information on how this should look in the Ctrader? Should there not be something under 'Journal' etc., indicating an order change?

How can you be sure that this is not a Spotware/Ctrader problem (that has happened in the past according to FPA cases)?

Hi t0ranaga,

Markets open on Sunday 21:00 UTC and daily change takes place every day at 21:00 UTC. So a daily chart starts from 21:00 UTC to 20:59 UTC next day.

Best Regards,

Panagiotis

I was about to ask a similar question regarding current date when I found this in the search. You say the reason is that there is a daily change on Sunday, but other brokers have a more intuitive daily close despite following the same hours

How does it make sense that the currently forming daily shows 02/03/2020, but if you switch to hourly, it says correctly 03/03/2020?

Doesn't the Sunday daily close candle saying 01/03/2020 give the impression that this candle represents trading done on Sunday, even though only 2 hours of that candle actually took place on Sunday (with server time)? How does that make sense?

If the market change is the reason, why do e.g. Oanda, Saxo etc. charts show 03/03/2020 on currently forming daily, and 02/03/2020 for the previous day (Monday) that seems far more intuitive?

RE: TradingView Charting cTrader Trading

ClickAlgo said:

Would like to see a standalone trading platform where you can choose to use either cTrader or a TradingView chart but the data feed and all the trading is with your existing cTrader broker. We have created a proof of concept cBot to demonstrate how it would work, the interface is a basic mock-up and the final version would be a modern user interface. At this stage, we are just gathering community feedback to see if the trader would find this a useful tool.

Please vote by clicking on the thumb below if you would like to see this made a reality.

Can you tell me about the potential scope of this, especially in regards to how potential watchlists or objects would be saved/work. Would it connect to a Tradingview account?

The main weakness of Ctrader as I see it, is how objects and workspaces are limited, e.g. you can't even move a chart from one workspace to another, or save the objects properly. I am watching at least the 28 common forex pairs. So if you have some pairs you want to focus on for the week, or if you are in e.g. 3 different trades, and want to see those in one workspace, you can't just move those charts to one workspace, you have create a brand new workspace and redraw every trendline to do that properly, this is incredibly clumsy, and the watchlists can't be linked to your workspace charts in any way (unless there is some tool for that?). Objects can't be replicated across charts, etc. Now I have to create 9 workspaces for these pairs, but I can't even rename the workspaces, let alone move some charts around.

I believe Charalampous said somewhere that the way objects are managed was going to be reviewed/changed in 3.8, any idea how that will compare with how tradingview works now?

Hi basharatahmed65,

If you close a chart then all changes will be lost. Since cTrader allows multiple charts to be open simultaneously, new charts are independent from charts closed in the past.

Is there seriously no way to save objects on the charts?

In trying to find out about this, I see similar complaints going back years. What is the point of customization if it cannot be saved? This platform becomes completely unusable without such a basic feature.
