Thanks for your reply.  Unfortunately, I don't have access to cTrader at the moment (no computer), hence my question. But I'll certainly do a check as soon as I can.

Good morning, 

Thank you for your reply. I am not able to reproduce it because it happened randomly when I just opened the cTrader web page. I open the cTrader web page the same way every day by opening my saved bookmark for cTrader, but on this day it decided to load an empty default chart with all my saved indicators and templates gone/deleted. I have had to recreate my charts with my indicators and create a new saved template. Hopefully you can investigate this so that charts and templates aren't randomly deleted when opening cTrader Web.

Hi Panagiotis, 

I just wanted to let you know that this tick chart issue is also happening on non-forex charts. I am trading US30 and the candlesticks also change when you refresh or re-open the chart. Please can you ensure that the fix you guys are making applies to everything; forex, commodities, indices etc etc.

Good afternoon, 

A couple of months ago I raised the issue of the tick charts not being the same when looking at live charts and historical charts. You said that this was due to a bug and it would be fixed in the next update. Has there been a new update because the charts are still different, and if there hasnt been an update yet, when will the update happen?

Ok great. Can I ask what exactly you will fix and what was the issue? I read somewhere that the reason why the live candlesticks might be different to ones opened on a chart later is that the historical data source used to create older candlesticks is different to the data source used to create live candlesticks. Is that correct?

 It would be nice to have the historical charts show the same candlesticks as the ones produced when seeing the charts live. I assume that the candlesticks produced live are correct?

Thank you but, your charts need to be 100% accurate all the time. People are risking their money based on information from your charts. 

In the example I gave, which one was the accurate chart? Chrome or Firefox?

Thank you very much for your quick reply. The issue is that the Heikin Ashi candles are only displayed for the last 3 or 4 days and as you go further back to previous days the Heikin Ashi candles have turned into regular japanese candlesticks but they are still using the blue and red colours of the Heikin Ashi option. They are no longer Heikin Ashi and they are just regular candlesticks. 

I will attach a screenshot of the point where the candlesticks change from being Heikin Ashi to being regular candlesticks as you look back through the charts. You can see in the screen shot that the candlesticks on the right half of the screen are Heikin Ashi and the candlesticks on the left side are regular candlesticks. They shouldnt be regular candlesticks as I have set the chart to show Heikin Ashi. 

Please have this fixed as soon as possible.

The pivot points have been aligned on different candle types for months. So its confusing why they changed today.

But if you are sure there are no errors with any charts' pivot point formulas, then I will accept the explanation. Please can you confirm.

Hi Panagiotis,

The pivot points take input from the price. The price is the same whichever candle type you use. The pivot point results will not be different because of candle type. For months I have been using pivot points with different candles and the pivot points have always been in the correct position.

Suddenly today there is a difference. Why?? The pivot points today are wrong. I have also checked online for the correct pivot point values for EUR/USD and the ones you have on the cTrader charts are wrong and they also differ between candle types. This needs to be fixed immediately because people rely on your charts to be accurate when risking their money trading. 

Please double check this immediately with the Product Team and ensure that the pivot points are fixed and are 100% accurate. Please provide me with that confirmation today.
