RE: RE: RE: RE: Risk-Reward Tool - Where is it?

Yeah, I'm going to back JohnnyG here on this one.

I have just spent an hour trying to figure out how to enable this elusive Risk-Reward feature.  Having come from another platform that has had it for years, I thought I must have just missed something.  I've been through the algo store, installed cBots (thinking that's what I needed to do), trawled whatever settings I can find, etc etc, but then found this thread.

This is extremely misleading, @PanagiotisCharalampous, and disappointing that such a basic feature is lacking in the desktop version.  Actually, my first impression overall is that there are many basic, basic, features that are lacking, but I'll try to stay on point here.

Please keep your platforms consistent, particularly web vs desktop app.  Serious traders who do this for a living don't use web apps, we need the performance of a desktop app, so don't deprioritise your most valuable target market.

Hi there,

This tool is only available on cTrader Web at the moment.

Best regards,

Panagiotis

Why? It would be useful, if all platforms would have same usability.

It will be added to the rest of the applications in future updates

Ok, that would be useful and pretty much a necessity.

Unless the mistake is on my side, I find the following misleading and wonder why you (cTrader) make it look like it's implemented in Desktop, and making me wasting my time trying to find the feature…

https://help.ctrader.com/ctrader-web/charts/risk-reward/#how-to-customise-risk-reward-parameters

:-) Looking at the weblink, I have to admit: it shows “web”. But who looks at the link, if the text, picture/Video gives a different impression?

Your text on the linked site, and especially the Video - where the picture shows no browser - does however confirm my point that it's misleading to me as of now…

Full time trader here. I'm evaluating cTrader to replace the aging software that I've been using for years.  cTrader's rather unsophisticated drawing tools is likely to be one of the key reasons that I will choose not to proceed with cTrader.

I can't overstate how important good drawing tools are for the manual trader, with easily selectable templates and hotkeys being number 1 and 2 in importance respectively.  Considering how amazing cTrader is in many other ways, this seems to be a huge oversight.
