Hi DrPeter,
some kind of news implementation is needed as a standard within the Spotware platforms. This should not be left to the brokers to decide what kind of news service that will be delivered. It can be a second choice and a option for us traders but a standard news service should be delivered within the platforms from Spotware.
Hi Kricka,
Yes, I agree, broker independent is appropriate. I think it is important to improve on the approach to news delivery that MT4 offers too. Having it buried in a tab within the terminal window is pretty useless. A small window that can be placed within view and moved if necessary is the way to go, along with the features I've mentioned above.
There appears to be no shortage of news feeds that could be pulled into the tool. The one from Pipware uses the news feed from ForexFactory and it is quite satisfactory.

Perhaps you have misinterpreted the IncredibleCharts information Gorin. I suggest you compile the code kindly provided above by Virtuesoft and observe what happens on a chart. You will see that the channel correctly contains the price action, which it must do by definition. However, as time moves forward if price "breaks" a channel line then the channel moves to show the new support or resistance levels created by the price movement. It is these breaks that are of interest to the trader. All price action however, will always be contained within the channel.
