The Darien Quiz Bowl Team is pleased to announce that DEFT (Darien's Excellent Fall Tournament) will be available for mirrors next season after October 1st. The set will be regular to regular-minus difficulty, a little easier than an IS set, and designed to have accessible answer lines for new teams. Michael Borecki will be head editing the set; I will also be editing, and Harris Bunker from Michigan State has volunteered to look it over for grammar and difficulty issues. Writers for the set will be members and alumni of the Darien High School team as well as Sharath Narayan (James Clemens) and Sohum Shenoy (Wilmington Charter).

I am pleased to announce that the Washington High Academic Questionfest II (WHAQ II) set will be available for mirrors nationwide (and internationally too, if there’s interest)! WHAQ II will be a regular* difficulty set that is written by current and former members of the quizbowl team at Washington High School in Missouri and the team at the Miami Valley School in Dayton, Ohio. The set will be head-edited by myself (Jacob O’Rourke); the rest of the editing team is David Dennis, the head coach at Washington (the classical music, current events); Mike Etzkorn of the University of Illinois (Literature); Ashwin Ramaswami, formerly of Chattahoochee High School (Biology, Chemistry, non-Greco-Roman myth); Chandler West of Auburn University (Painting, Other Visual Arts); and Harris Bunker of Michigan State University (Religion, Philosophy, Physics, Other Science).

Hey,
I opened a Mirror Trader demo account with AVA FX.
So far the results are pretty good. (I only opened it 3 days ago, so I have to see how it works in the long run).
I selected the 3 strategies that were on top of the list and I'm "joining" live signals when the graph looks good. I'm sure I got a lot to learn, but for now I just want to see how it works...Is anyone using Mirror Trader? Any useful tips that can help me with it?

Hello –

Hoping to use this plugin on a PHP 7 site.

However, the WPEngine PHP Compatibility Checker plugin and it’s showing the errors below.

Questions are basically if / when this code may be updated for PHP 7 compatibility?

Else, is this perhaps a “false positive” that won’t create issues?

Hi,

I want to sort the rest api results for posts on acf type of data.
Wordpress doesn’t allow orderby on acf fields. How can I do the same?

Hello, I try to transform my web site in a SPA with the wordpress rest API V2.
I have some pages which use some extensions like a portfolio (the exact name of the extension is Modula) and a calendar event (the exact name of the extension is “Liste des événements”).
In order to insert the extension in my pages, I use the appropriate shortcode.
Unfortunately the two extensions don’t work fine with the rest api : it seems that the shortcode are correctly transform into html code in the content response of the rest api (for the two extensions), but for the two extensions there is something wrong :
– modula return some javascript in the response content and this code seems not to be executed
– the calendar event need a css file which is not in the response (this problème is “solved” because I have had the css file in my header manually).

So, my question is : is it a good way to use the rest api V2 with page that use extensions? Is it some restrictions for the extensions we ca use with the rest api? And finally…does someone have a solution for my portfolio?
