I use 6 multiple time charts. Now I have to make 6 changes to swap the charts from day to night screen and then the seventh to change the program border colour as well. The person who came up with these ideas has no idea....
And the loss of the toolbar at the top, scattering them around the left sidebar, one at the top and the rest elsewhere is also ridiculous.

Had that happen to me again last night. Does not work on the chart, no matter how fast I try to double click.

Thought I'd check the Positions window shield icon for "Advanced Take Profit/Stop Loss Options" and surprised it was working there, so I put in my BE options and saved and exited, even though it was not working on the chart. You might want to keep that in mind next time. It has happened to me three times in as many weeks when I've needed to put in a BE stop order. Not sure whether this will work in all cases, but it's a thought.

Cheers,

Frank

PS. I contacted LiveChat about it, and the option on the charts came active again while I was chatting to her, but just after I quit, it dropped out again. I didn't bother ringing back, but it appears to be a delicate beast on the charts.

A simpler solution that will not cost you money is to click on an order on the chart, go to the lot size on the Modify Order and add the lot size that you need to add and click OK. This means that if you have place "Advanced Take Profit and Stop Loss Options" they still are in play, as it the present SL. You can do it this way as long as you want. When you go to exit, you only have one trade to consider. If you want to partially exit, you can do the same thing with reducing the lot size. Hope that helps.

• The QuickTrade Execution Settings do not have the option to set “Move Stop Loss to Break Even” button. Or at least have a link there that opens the “Advanced Protection” box. Have to go somewhere else to do it. This is under the “Advanced Protection: Trailing Stops and Moving-to-Break-Even.” Should be at the QuickTrade settings too, and wherever else settings are made. For instance, with the “New Market Order” dialogue box, we see “Stop Loss” and “Take Profit” check boxes halfway down the box. When “Stop Loss” is checked, we see “Pips,” “Balance,” “Profit,” and “Trailing Stop.” Below the “Trailing Stop” should be added “Move to Break Even” and make it so that the program automatically saved what is entered as the default setting to display next time the dialogue box opens. Should be able to store the “Add” number of pips if they are added as, for example, (BE + 5); 5 should be reloaded when the program restarts so that it reads Break Even plus five pips. Should be saved and remembered each time the program starts for both “Advanced Take Profit” and “Advanced Stop Loss,” it is automatically saved as default for the next time the dialogue box is opened.
