RE: RE:
I tried both, occurs frequently in both. I also made a solution to restart cTrader on disconnects, but it's complicated as the bots will not auto-start after restart so therefore you need to play around with an automation tool that can click start on the bots, which becomes even more complicated when running in a VPS @ Windows as screen actions are disabled during disconnect... frustrating to say the least.

yup, and Spotware doesn't seem to care, this has been an issue for 1-2 years. I am in the process of switching back to mt4 because of this reason.
Did you try running your robot on cTrader, instead of cAlgo? I'm trying that right now, if it doesnt work i will write myself an external tool that watches for disconnects and does the "manual" reconnecting process for me..

RE:
Upon connecting to an idle RDP session the cTrader application will throw exception.
The issue persists and frequently occurs if you connect / disconnect using Remote Desktop (RDP)
Restart of cTrader is required to resume function of cBots. This is pretty bad for automated trading @spotware
Please look into this!

Occurs frequently on multiple installations on different Windows server versions.
Unfortunately the quality of the cTrader platform continues to deteriorate. Please look into this as soon as possible, you should replicate the issue with ease in your lab. Keep asking us for screenshots will not make the problem go away. I urge you to improve on your testing cycles, are you guys doing proper CI / CD? It would be sad to see such a previously great platform fall to the quality of others.

The sooner you accept that everything within this industry is highly manipulated, the sooner you'll be able to take advantage of it.
In fact, anything related to transactions of value, has and will always be manipulated as much as possible.
