Job Description
Hello I require a cBot to pass historical data (last x close values) to a Linux script, run the script, read output of script and place a pending order back under cAlgo.
I use cAlgo with Pepperstone under Windows 7 and have installed a virtual machine using vmware player. the client is running Ubuntu. Under the client I use a script which takes as input historical data (last 1024 close bar values) and provide as output a trading decision that needs to be passed back to the cBot as a pending order (entry value and short long decision). Both the host and the client are running under the same physical machine.
At every Close of each bar if the pending order has not been filled then it is canceled and the all process is to be repeated. The intention is to use the cBot to backtest the decision script over historical data.
This script cannot be made available under Windows and only accessible through Ubuntu.
The programmer will need to install Vmware workstation 12 with host Ubuntu 64 bits, also required will be a demo version of cTrader cAlgo.
Careful architecture needs to be considered to minimise latency.
Any recommendations or suggestion will be most welcome.
Dear Sir
Thank you for posting your requirement for a cBot that exchanges data with Linux script through socket!
I confirm that I understand your project requirements, very clearly!
I can realize this system for you, as I have already realized such interfacing systems for different trading platforms.
I have sent you detailed email regarding my proposal.
Eagerly waiting for your positive response!
Thank You, Sir!
