Job Description
OBV Indicator changes.
The OBV as it stands with the standard formula used on most charting packages, adds or subtracts Volume from a running total.
I would like to make 2 changes to this indicator.
- Change the way OBV is currently worked out, instead of adding or subtracting from a running total, the equation should be changed to X periods. E.g. OBV line is drawn using only the last 50 periods/ candlesticks, instead of every candlestick.
- The second change I would like together with changes first made to point 1, is for the way in which the new OBV Line/data is represented. Instead of having the indicator below the Price value, I would like to see it Overlay on price. As a consequence of this overlay there must be an extra column of numbers on the chart (Next to price) to accommodate for the value of OBV(X).
I have a documented the requirements in detail to show you exactly what I am looking for... this includes screen shots as well
