qtrader.co: automatically parse and execute trade signals from Telegram

Hello traders!

I am delighted to present qtrader.co, a small trading software complementary to cTrader, that helps you execute trades posted on Telegram channels.

Key features

• Automatically gather and parse messages from the Telegram signals channels you choose;

• Auto-magically select the correct trading instrument on your broker, that matches the trade signal, e.g. “XAUUSD” for a “gold” signal;

• Automatically execute the actions from trade signals, such as:

  • open a new position,

  • set the stop loss and take profit,

  • move the stop loss to break-even,

  • close half or all the position;

• Customize the risk used for each Telegram channel, e.g. risk 1% of account equity on each trade. QTrader.co then computes the position size accordingly.

• Supported brokers: any cTrader broker, Interactive Brokers.

• Supported instruments: Commodities, Forex, Indices, Precious Metals.

Current limitations

• Each trader has its own way of writing trading signals, so QTrader.co may not be able to understand a new signal syntax before we update it.

• Commissions are not taken into account for position sizing.

• Market orders are not supported. (e.g. when your trade signal provider says “sell EURUSD now” without price) All entries must have a defined price.

• Only one entry, one stop loss (SL) and one take profit (TP) are allowed for each trade.

Future plans

• Get over most of the current limitations.

• Automatically back-test the past signals of a Telegram channel.

• macOS version.

QTrader.co is currently downloadable for free just after registration on our website. It will later require a small subscription fee every month, once I squashed most of the bugs. Since qtrader.co is currently under heaving testing, it may still contain errors. Please do not use it on a live account yet!
