The Scroll Wheel on the mouse

The Scroll Wheel on the mouse

In many instances, I close pages that I did NOT want to close with the Scroll Wheel in the mouse. Would you please deactivate that command because all these times I have to redo my analyses which take lots of time. Please deactivate it, or guide me on how to deactivate it on my Desktop. Thank you.
