We have a problem Houston - thread dates

Nice clean update on the UI. However, it would appear that the majority of threads have been updated to reflect a status of having had some new content added to the thread on 21st July. On reviewing each thread, there appears to be no new content added on this date. This makes identification of genuine new content very hard to determine and thus the forum has been rendered less than useful.
a few examples, picked totally randomly that all indicate recent activity (from pages 12&25 on this topic):
page 12, last activity (29 May 2017, 04:58): https://ctrader.com/forum/suggestions/20169
page 25, last activity (25 Aug 2015, 05:31): https://ctrader.com/forum/suggestions/6375
It would be great if the forum was this active, but alas :D. Any chance this flag could be modified under the covers to reflect when the last content had been posted - i'm sure it's a quite SQL frig :D
thanks again
jim

All they really have to do is change the default sorting on the page to “last added” which would go towards a long way of doing this.
I presume our plight has gone largely unnoticed :(
c'mon guys, you must surely see that the forum useability has been trashed… any thoughts on a fix?
