Customizable User Interface Colors
31 Oct 2020, 02:36

Hello

It would be fantastic if there was a tick box in Color Options, to automatically match the GUI primary and secondary colors (Green and Orange) to user customized Bull and Bear, Fill or Outline colors (I personally only use the candle outlines with transparent bodies so, fill only, would be flawed).

The intention being that all the Buy/Sell Buttons, rising/falling price text colors, chart order references etc... match their equivalent chart bar colors through out the GUI (reducing the mental color translation). Or more accurately every where the GUI theme uses Green changes to match Bull Fill and everywhere GUI theme uses orange changes to match Bear Fill. I use theme specifically because I recognize there are items that are already customizable elements that by option are set to green/orange to match the native theme. Its not the native theme that is dictating they be green/orange.

Or alternatively just expose the GUI theme colors through the Color Options also to be saved to a user template.
CTrader's favorite colors may not be everyone's. The platform is expected to be used for hours on end, users will appreciated loving the environment they spend that much time in.

Thanks

Very good post, I 100% agree with everything you have said.

Personally, I wish I had the option to match the quicktrade button colours to my bull and bear candle colours and also an option for them to remain the same colour.

One constant colour for the buy button and another constant colour for the sell button. The continuous orange and green flickering from both buttons reminds me of a casino slot machine.

And it can be quite distracting when im trying to focus on the chart's price action. Yes, I could turn the quicktrade panel off but I use it as my main trade entry method.
