Mean Renko & Renko tails added by default

Adding my vote as a developer of Renko Tails. Unfortunately, the current method of loading tick data using the API is not very efficient and keeps all the data in memory, which leads to high memory usage.

Personally I would love the solution of having the developer being able to edit the bars layer and access the bars like any other time based bars - all issues of Better Renko, Mean Renko, Range, Timed Range, etc. would be solved. No workaround with indicators.
However, besides the framework changes, some instruments have huge tick counts and keeping it in memory or having slow online loading wouldn't work - especially on VPSs. But this is a suggestion box, so I wish ;-)  and in the meantime I give my vote for Renko Tails.

Apoio o desenvolvimento Pavio no Renko / Reversão Assimétrica / Backtest em barras renko

Hello cTrader Admins.

Currently "save me" using in mt5 the "https://www.mql5.com/pt/code/20254". I am totally in favor of the insertion requested and

I add two additions: 1) Insert "Asymmetric Reversion" option as shown in this mt5 code above.

2) Enable backtest of renko bar strategies.

With this, cTrader will be much more top than it already is.

Atualmente "me salvo" utilizando no mt5 o "https://www.mql5.com/pt/code/20254". Sou totalmente favorável a inserção solicitada e

adiciono duas adições: 1) Inserir opção de "Reversão Assimétrica" como mostra este código do mt5 acima.
 

2) Possibilitar backtest de estratégias em barras renko.

Com isso, a cTrader ficará muito mais top do que já é.

Renko bars truly are a must have in a traders toolkit and ctrader ought to have mean renkos and renko tails by default in order to become a step ahead of its competitors, since mean renko is much more intuitive and precise than regular renko bricks.

100 Renko is not enough either. At least as with the range chart

1000 pips at least for renko box size

Amazing to see how the community is looking forward to seeing Ctrader as a lead platform for execution as well as analysis. This feature is implemented by default in Ninjatrades i have tested it before but didn´t like the platform that much, but have all this available by default on CTrader would be another level. Not even MT4 or Tradingview have it by default. Hope the development team to consider it in the near future.

Yes, develop these options.

cTrader already downloads the O/H/L/C information -- just alter the servers so they keep track of this as well to feed the data to cTrader clients.
