Price ticker - color change to match price going up/down
21 Nov 2019, 23:32

(originally I think I posted it in the wrong section, the desktop support forum)

Is there a way - or are there any plans - to have an option to show the usual way
price tickers behave, namely the color changes based on whether the price
is going up or down?

Same in the order tab on the right, I don't see a panel or option to clearly
show the price going up/down with color changes, like with Tradingview and
most exchanges and brokers.

(the closest to this is the Quick Order buttons you can enable on your graphs,
which do color change, based on price movement, though they do it
separately for ask and bid price and it just would be a lot easier to see what's
going on if in the order panel and if the price ticker itself we had these color
changes based on price movement).

Thanks, other than some of these small annoyances (no settings for the
trailing SL for example), cTrader is a great tool!

Yes! This can get confusing sometimes for people using the quick trade buttons directly on the chart as well. Those change color exactly as described for the market watch as well. Buy and Sell buttons should (imho) always remain distinguished by remaining red for sell and green for buy (the active symbol panel implements this in the correct manner).

cTrader is, in my humble opinion, THE best retail trading platform out there. But there is always room for some improvements

Yes I agree.

I use the quick trade buttons directly on the chart and I think they should remain a solid colour with the option to change the colours if needed to match a person's bull and bear fill colours. The constant changing of the quick trade button colours can distract from the chart's price action too.
