Optimization settings lost repeatedly in v3.5

Overall I'm really impressed with the latest update to 3.5. There's clearly a new bug in the optimization code though - all of the optimization settings are often reset back to their initial defaults for no apparent reason after an optimization run is completed. The other setting which doesn't persist is the selected sort order in the optimization results table.

Whilst I'm on the topic, please Spotware, it would be awesome to be able to save and restore optimization settings.
