Ability to tile chart windows horizontally or vertically whether in full screen mode or not

Need better ability to tile chart windows horizontally or vertically whether in full screen mode or not and whatever chart layout is chosen. The current method of choosing layout isn't bad but it falls over when looking to tile charts vertically as opposed top horizontally. The charts can be tiled vertically when not in full screen mode but when switching to full screen mode they then tile horizontally.
Managed to get what I was after once but never again... Needs to be much simpler / more intuitive
