Ticks per minute indicator

Any hints on how to start coding this? I'm happy to try and work it out by looking at any other indicator code which uses a similar events/unit of time method.

Cant find a function that refers to the tick counter

A variation on this theme would be "seconds per bar". Meaning, amount of seconds elapsed for each N-tick bar to form. Plotted as an indicator.
