FIX API ICMARKETS/XM BROKERS

Hello, I'm very new to FIX API so please excuse my ignorance :)

I have been researching FIX API brokers, I now Ctrader provide FIX API credentials, how is this possible?

say I open an account with XM and an account with ICMarket brokers, and I choose to use Ctrader as my trading platform. Who is actually giving me the connection to the Liquidity providers via FIX API, is it my brokers(ICmarket/XM) that are providing a FIX API Account? or Ctrader? 

What confuses me is say i open a normal account with ICMarkets(NOT A FIX API), but when I chose ctrader platform, Then I can see that I have FIX API credentials

Can some explain, please?

Hi seluh1,

cTrader FIX API allows you to trade with your cTrader account through FIX API. It does not give you access to liquidity providers. Let me know if this clarifies your question.
