ExecutionReport's OrdStatus 0 (New) for Market Orders

ExecutionReport's OrdStatus 0 (New) for Market Orders

When I Send BuyLimit and SellLimit orders, I can get OrdStatus as Filled on ExecutionReport message. But When I sent Market Order I could not get Price and OrdStatus = Filled

Is it by design?

Hi glikoz,

When placing a market order, you should get two messages, a New when the order is created and a Filled when the order is executed.
