Hello
I have a question about Price field 44 in new order single message.
I found this field in FIX Specification Version 2.16.1.
My question is that if I submit merket order with this Price field 44, can I control the slippage of this merket order?
And If I set this Price field, bigger slippage than I set never occurs?
I want to know whether cTrader FIX API supports " Market Range " order and it can avoid to excessive slippage or not.

Yes this is correct. With this tag you can control slippage. It is the worst price you accept to take. If the order cannot be filled completely under this condition then your order will not be filled or filled partially.

Thank you for your reply. Sorry, I have one more question. I sent merket order with Price field and got this error like below image. Could you tell me about this error? I want to send merket order with Price field in order to avoid the slippage.

This tag is only used for limid orders. You cannot use it for a market order
