How to choose position by referencing PosMaintRptID with hedged account?

How to choose position by referencing PosMaintRptID with hedged account?

Hello everyone,

 

I have not been able to close existing positions by referencing PosMaintRptID with hedged account. Is there a way to do this or is this a feature planned for the next FIX updated?

 

Any idea, suggestions would be appriciated,

Dear Jensenbreck093,

You should be able to do that. Can you please provide the messages you are sending? Also can you tell us what happens after you send the message? Does a new position open instead?
