set Proxy server cTrader

Hello,

I have one question about cTrader platform.

On cTrader has Connection Settings window.

So, I set via use Proxy server with my proxy server data but on Login and Password , I have to use my broker login and password ?

Dear Trader,

The login and Password fields are:

Login: Your local proxy login

Password: Your local proxy password

In addition, please have a look at the Connection Settings section of the cTrader’s support site.

Hello. I already using proxy from http:/advanced.name. Is the configuration on cTrader will be the same one?

Dear Trader, 

Please be advised that the connection  settings are to be set as follows:

  • Server: Your local proxy server Name/IP
  • Port: Port of your local proxy server
  • Protocol: Supported proxy protocol
  • Login: Your local proxy login
  • Password: Your local proxy password

So are these my regular cTrader ID login details?
Also are those connecton settings still the best and valid for a cAlgo connection from Australia.

Thanks for posting your question in the forum. No, these are not your cTID credentials. These are the credentials for your local proxy.
