Daily percent gain/loss

On the cTrader interface it displays the daaily percent gain/loss.  Is there an indicator for that?

Also, how is it calculated?

Here is what I am talking about.  how is that calculated and is there an indicator to see the calculations historically

Dear Trader,

There is a formula to calculate the gain/loss in percentage: 

(current price - open price) / open price.

Yes, I know that formula but how is the interface calculating the percentage.  What open price is it using?

Is there a way to calculate the average daily gain/loss in absolute terms over a N number of daily candles?
