cTrader Unreliable? (Lost profits!)
cTrader Unreliable? (Lost profits!)

I'm starting to have doubts about the platform as a whole.
I placed a stop-limit order earlier - (had to amend the position size and TP after adding it, but all were accepted) - journal entries:
2025.01.21 14:40:18.566 | StopLimit order to Buy 1.00 Lots GBPUSD (Price: 1.22957, SL: 5.1, TP: 15.5) is sent to server
2025.01.21 14:40:18.675 | → StopLimit order OID32079647 to Buy 1.00 Lots GBPUSD (Price: 1.22957, SL: 5.1, TP: 15.5) is ACCEPTED (21/01/2025 14:40:18.605 UTC+0)
2025.01.21 14:40:49.409 | Request to amend order OID32079647 is sent to server
2025.01.21 14:40:49.472 | → Request to amend order OID32079647 is ACCEPTED (21/01/2025 14:40:49.428 UTC+0)
2025.01.21 14:45:17.910 | Request to amend order OID32079647 (TP: 178.0) is sent to server
2025.01.21 14:45:17.941 | → Request to amend order OID32079647 (TP: 178.0) is ACCEPTED (21/01/2025 14:45:17.939 UTC+0)
2025.01.21 14:46:45.018 | Request to amend order OID32079647 (Price: 1.22970) is sent to server
2025.01.21 14:46:45.049 | → Request to amend order OID32079647 (Price: 1.22970) is ACCEPTED (21/01/2025 14:46:45.027 UTC+0)
2025.01.21 15:22:35.551 | → Stop_limit order to BUY 1.45 Lots GBPUSD OID32079647 is CANCELLED (21/01/2025 15:22:35.503 UTC+0)
Went on to do other non-trading stuff for just over half an hour, and come back to see price had moved in my favour only to discover the pending order had been cancelled, with no explanation in the history, transactions, or journal. (In fact if it wasn't for the entries in the journal I might have thought I “had planned” to take that trade but never got around to it!)
Let me be clear - I did NOT do this, the net result being of course lost profits, and massively shaken confidence in the platform's ability to perform basic trading tasks while "unattended". (I also checked my emails, and my broker account/dashboard just to see if I inadvertently exceeded some kind of limit or broke a rule somehow - nothing). This is obviously concerning for a number of reasons - i.e. what if if fails to close my position when I have a (trailing) stop “in place” resulting in actual lost capital instead of “just” lost profits? Completely unacceptable.
Coupled with the fact that when I browse the forums for other information, I see lots of posts from people with zero responses from Spotware - older posts too, implying a lack of support for genuine issues people are facing. Other users do reply - but replies are moderated before being visible to both the OP and subsequent visitors, and if Spotware (support) are on vacation, or don't care… well, let's just say it's not ideal when it comes to recommending cTrader over older platforms like MT, or even some of the newer ones surfacing.
I wonder if I'll get a response to this, and how long it will take. (Apologies for the tone - but I am slightly aggravated at the moment!)

Have you asked your broker why?
If so, what did they say?
Yep. Went onto their live chat and spoke with support there, took under 2 minutes from clicking the live support button.
They basically said there were no technical behind the scenes problems with their backend systems, and only I have access to any open positions, in the same manner as only bank account holders can affect their balance by saving or spending their hard earned cash.
