Synchronise drawings from one desktop instance to another?
01 Dec 2024, 10:05

I have multiple computers and need to use the CTrader Desktop platform, is there a was to synchronise drawings from one CTrader Desktop asset, with all the drawings on a particular chart?

Hi there,

If you just want to use cTrader on different devices, you can use workspaces. But if you need the synchronization to happen in real time, this is not possible.

Best regards,

Panagiotis

So If I have ‘drawings’ on a chart in a desktop environment, there is no way to copy that across to another desktop environment (on another computer), even via export/import or something?

You can save your drawings into json file and upload into cloud than download on other desktop. But this is lots of coding and costs time to synchronize.

You can try this indicator: https://ctrader.com/algos/indicators/show/2855/

It allows you to save all your chart drawings into a file and then you can load it later back.
