Alerts and Drawing Mulfunctions

The desktop platform seems to be partially logging me out. When I open the platform, everything works normally, but after a few minutes (less than 5) I can't create or modify price alerts. It tells me I have bad connection yet I am able to successfully execute trades on the same malfunctioning platform. I have attempted to wait for it to regain the connection that was only lost  to that feature and not my ability to execute or the rest of my computer, but the connection never returns. All this while the price is continuously printing and displaying as usual. I am therefore forced to restart the platform, things go back to normal for another 5 minutes. But now, all the drawings I drew even before the 5 minute window are gone as well as my preferred time zone setting. I can't trade on the platform like this. I've tried to restart my computer and that also works for less than 5 minutes.
