Unable to set price alerts

Unable to set price alerts

Hi there

I'm running 2 copies of ctrader on a windows machine, and 1 on a mac.

This last week or so I have been unable to place alerts. When I try, nothing happens.  On the Mac, it looses connection to ctrader and then reconnnects. 

If i move an old existing price alert by dragging, it just bounces back to its original price.

 

Does anyone know whats happening, or how I can get my alert functionality back?

I started facing the exact problem today with price alerts after updating to the latest version. It was working fine before the update.

It happened to me too, I had to restart cTrader and then it worked. This new version seems quite unstable and I constantly need to restart it.

yeah, sometimes restarting solves it, and sometimes not. Thanks for the responses, glad to know im not going mad

It looks like v5.0.40 is full of bugs, hopefully they will patch it up quickly since the forum is being flooded with issues.

This problem should have been resolved by now. Please restart your cTrader and in case you still experience problems, please send us some troubleshooting information quoting this thread.
