Is there any way to backup local instances?

I gonna run multiple instances on my vps locally,

but if I reinstall operating system, I have to re-add instances, even though i already backup each parameters set, it still takes a lot time.

I wanna know do we have ability to backup local instances?

If not could it be a new feature in some days?
