How is commission fee charged?

Hi:
I have a USD account and I am trading GBPAUD. In backtest, I set the commission fee as 30 per million. (see the first figure below)
1) What does 30 here mean? Is it 30 USD or other currency?
2) Then in my backtest result I found that for every trade, my net profit is always 0.82 USD less than gross profit (regardless of winning or losing, see the second figure below). This is because of the commission fee. How is 0.82 USD calculated? My trading volume is always 10000 GBP.

Hi RedSeaBro,
It's 30 units of base currency. So if you trade GBPUSD, then it is 30 GBP.

Thanks. Appreciate it.
