Entering stop order, it moves my TP
17 Aug 2021, 16:29

When I set up my order with TP and SL. If my order is entered higher/lower than my price (due to spread/slippage) then it automatically moves my TP. Can I set it so that it does not move my TP?
I always want to keep my TP in the place I had it because it could be due to resistance areas and so it needs to be below there.

Hi dean_trades,

There is no option to fix your SL and TP on a price at the moment. Both of them are set relatively to the entry price.

Are you planning on releasing that in an update? Would be good to lock in a TP instead of it being automatically moved.

Hi dean_trades,

We do not have plans to change the designed functionality at the moment, since this might have serious consequences e.g. resulting to non valid SLs and TPs and leaving the position unprotected.
