cTrader Server Selection

Hi,

I'm just trying to understand the criteria that cTrader uses to select the server it uses.

A recent example :

The first time cTrader started it selected a server in New York with times of approx 80ms

I restarted it immediately and it connected to Amsterdam with a connection speed of approx 20ms

I restarted it immediately again and it then connected to London with a speed of approx 1ms

 

The machine running cTrader is physically located in London.

It would be great to know how cTrader selects which server to use !

The proxies are selected based on the fastest connection at the moment.
