Charts will not load, every timeframe is the same.
02 Feb 2021, 22:54

Hello all,

I have created a CTRL+SCHIFT+ALT+T report for this. My problem: when I start Ctrader, the charts wil load one time, upon start. Then they freeze. When I zoom or move the chart I can see everything moving (like the scale and such) accept for the candle sticks. When Ctrader has loaded one hour time frame candles, it does not matter to what time frame I change, the candles remain the  same. Also changing them to dots or line, it remains te candle sticks wich were loaded upon  starting up. Also, there are no new candles forming. What am I missing? .Net FrameWork 8.4 is installed, I have no virusscanner, I am working on a new laptop (HP Probook 450 G8 - 27J10EA) I changed it to factory setting multiple times, deleted all HP programs wich were not mandated. Still no succes. On my other (much older) laptops cTrader version 3.8 works fine. What could it be?

Processor: 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7@2.40GHz.

OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
Version 10.0.19042 Build 19042

Hi broer.forex,

Can you please install Spotware cTrader Beta, create a new cTrader ID and let us know if the problem persists?

Hi Panagiotis,

I did. This is my new ID, wich I created in the Beta version. I also noticed that cBots are'nt working properly, maybe it is related to the same problem?

For instance sample Martingale cBot.

It will start with a trade, when there is a loss or a win it should start a new trade. But it doesn't.

Kind regards,
Berrie

It does not seem related. I will forward the information to the product team, in case they can identify what is the problem.

I have noticed something: when I open cTrader and let the program run for a whole day and night, suddenly the charts work. When I restart it doesn't work anymore.

Maybe it can help find the bug?

Kind regards

Berrie

Hi all,

It seems to be an issue with your graphics cards. This seems to happen on Intel Xe Graphics video cards. You need to wait for a fix in the drivers from Intel.

THis happened with the latest driver update today from Intel. I've had to roll it back.

I've submitted a report to @Spotware through the ctrl-shift-alt-T so Spotware can confirm if it is another bug in the Intel driver or not.

It affects both my Pepperstone and IC Markets cTrader platforms.

Hi firemyst,

If it fixes itself when rolling back the drivers, then it is a drivers issue.
