Some Indicators show flatline in ticks T1 view mode - Is this normal?

Some of the standard Indicators, like SwingIndex, don't seem to display in tick T1 view, in my cTrader 3.8 :

 - See Swing Index indicator at bottom:

Is this normal / to be expected, or is something wrong?

I am thinking of using this indicator for a ticks-based cBot, but maybe it won't work?

Hi ctid2514471,

Swing index is calculated based on the difference of the previous open and close prices. Open and close price for tick bars is always the same so the specific indicator cannot be calculated.

Thanks Panagiotis.

So some indicators can be expected to not work in Ticks view.

Good to know. I didn't know.
