Slow compile of projects with many dependent projects

Hi Guys,

                I think my machine is running ok but my projects with many dependencies, take a long time to compile. All the usual optimisations are set as described here. Although building just the main project does not work as the main algo uses project references so it has to build all projects. Any tips would be really great. I don't think its a virus scanning issue.
