[BUG] Horizontal lines get randomly invisible in v 3.8 when 90% scale is used
15 Jun 2020, 19:32

When 90% chart scale is used in v 3.8 (probably any scale other than100%) then horizontal lines (mostly of thickness 1) tend to randomly disappear while being moved. They also disappear if they are static and the chart is moved up or down instead. It looks as if the algorithm sometimes decided to change the thickness to zero for a moment, and a next pixel up or down, it changed it back to 1.

I remember experiencing similar issues in older cTrader versions - prior the transparency feature was introduced and when line thickness could be set to a decimal (as opposed to integer). Lines with thickness of  less than 1.0 used to exhibit very similar issues

This bug is really unpleasant as some lines can disappear from the chart without touching them and if neither the line or the chart is moved they can stay invisible for long despite they still exist.

Hi Vitore,

Thanks for reporting this issue. Is it possible to record a short video that will allow us to see the problem as well as the steps you follow to reproduce it?

Hi Panagiotis,

video posted to the Telegram group as I couldn't find a way of posting it here

Btw. the lines not only disappear but also can change their thickness as they move (visible on the video as well)

Vitore
