Risk Reward Tool Bugs?
21 Feb 2020, 00:59

I just downloaded the risk-reward tool trial to test it, but immediately I am encountering several bugs:

There is garbled/overlapping text misplaced on the upper part of the tool: https://pepperstoneuk.ctrader.com/images/screens/K8Rxn.png

Text not following the tool, is this supposed to be possible?: https://pepperstoneuk.ctrader.com/c/rBRxn (I was just trying to move the tool around when this happened)

Initially the SL & TP would not adjust the parameters at all when moved around (prior to order activation), but that seems to have been fixed after closing it a few times, although setting a specific pip SL & TP does not work correctly, e.g. if I set SL to 10, the tool opened with a SL at 4.2.

The 'hide' button does not seem work correctly; it just moves my cursor to the open or close button, and hides the text on the tool, it does not 'show/hide' the actual tool as the description says?

Hi, Ne539,

We have tested it an various machines and it is still working fine, I thought that the latest update may have caused a few problems, but it seems to be working ok, the issue you are getting can happen if you have a custom display setting on high-resolution monitors, we have posted a work-around on our bug reporting forum where you posted this issue. As this is not a Spotware related bug, you did not really need to post this here as our support staff would be happy to help you resolve this.

Sometimes  these issues can be related to a single users PC and not everybody, we are usually able to identify the cause through our remote support service. the other issues you are reporting are just down to the configuration settings, the product page below includes an in-depth description of how to use the tool.
