How do we know what's in the latest release?
04 Dec 2019, 02:41

Dear Team Spotware,

I received a Pepperstone update to cTrader 3.6 yesterday (Tuesday). This would have been some sort of minor fix/update as the version stayed the same.

My question is, is/will there ever be a changelog so we can see the latest updates/fixes when these minor releases are made? I'm tracking several issues I've reported, and I'd hate to have to keep posting to these forums and/or emailing @Panagiotis to see if they've been fixed yet or not.

Thank you.

Hi FireMyst,

At the moment there is no release notes for minor updates. We try to update the relevant threads when fixes are released and also report the changes in our Telegram group.

No worries.

Have any of these been fixed yet?

(if your response, " That is not so clear, currently in that case `TradeResult.IsSuccessful = true; TradeResult.ErrorCode = null`. In future versions it will be more clear, `ErrorCode` won't be null. " has been implemented yet?)

Thank you.

HI @Panagiotis:

Thank you for the updates. I think you need to at least update thread 22129 then to indicate to everyone it has been resolved :-)

As for Telegram - we have the forums - how hard is it to create a separate forum and/or a read-only thread and include the updates there? Users should not have to download another application and join yet another Spotware group in that application to now find out the latest updates.

Or is Spotware going to put a Directory on their website that tells users what they should do and where they should go to get certain information?

  •  Spotware.com -> product information, sales information, download actual products
  •  Facebook -> latest sales/marketing promotions
  •  cTrader.com -> forums and latest API announcements
  •  Telegram -> latest change release logs

etc etc etc.

Getting a bit ridiculous don't you think?

How many 3rd party applications, services, and systems does Spotware want us to sign up to in order to use and get information on their products?

@Panagiotis:
I really do not want to install the Telegram app just for ctrader updates. Please can the latest change logs be posted to the forum as @FireMyst  requested.
I could not find a version of telegram that runs on the web.  Please don't make us install yet another app on PC's just for this

Release Notes (also Road Map for that matter)

Up vote for storing all  cTrader information  on the cTrader website :)

This is where everyone goes for questions. So wouldn't it make the most sense to keep all the answers here also.

I don't know what Telegram is, so I clearly don't need it in my life.
cTrader contributes value to the world, so I am happy to have cTrader account in my life.

Hi SmartArtsStudio,

You can find all information about what is new in each release in the What's New section of cTrader. We do not plan to publish release notes for minor updates at the moment.
