Chart not renewing until window is resized
18 Dec 2013, 20:37

Hello all!

I am using cTrader version 1.14.34179 on Win7 64bit. When I scroll the chart or modify it in any way, it continues to show the same data until I resize the chart window - then it refreshes and shows everything how it should be. How do I fix this?

Could you please run dxdiag.exe to generate a file and send it to us to engage@spotware.com? You can find dxdiag.exe by typing it in the Start search box.

Please try to re install the video card drivers and Direct X and try again. The same issue was experienced by Windows 8 users and was fixed with the release of Windows 8.1.

It didn't help.

RE:

Just a bit of follow-up:

After updating cTrader to the most recent version as of today, updating graphics drivers to the latest January release and updating DirectX, the problem is still there - charts do not change until I resize the chart window.

Re:Solved on my side

Hi Enivid

I have been using a desktop computer for months with cTrader and there was no issue.

However today I decided to purchase a new Lenovo S440 on Windows 7 64bit and I had the same issue as yours which was bewildering.

At first I thought it was memory, internet ping etc but the desktop had almost the same specs and it could not be any of them.

I read this thread and did as was suggested, Directx didn't solve the issue but reinstalling my Intel graphics card driver solved it.

Charts have been loading seamlessly even after restarts.

Thank you and hope this helps.
