Slow performance, hanging, not responding
Slow performance, hanging, not responding

Over the last couple of weeks, cTrader desktop has been very slow indeed, and prone to crashes. When it is working, it's around 3-6 seconds between clicks, sometimes longer, which is very frustrating.
I've done a clean re-install of cTrader, and updated .net framework - following Spotware's troubleshooting steps. Still, no change.
I have around 8-10 charts open.
Laptop is an i3, 8gb ram. Even with a few apps running (chrome, OneNote, Telegram, cTrader), only 5gb ram is being utilised, of which cTrader uses around 660mb. Internet connection is stable.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hello,
You encounter problems only with cTrader? All other apps work well?
Yes, just cTrader. All other apps work fine.

After upgrade problem. Before stabile, after error.
It's been happening for a week or two. I'm not sure when it updates - i think it does it in the background automatically. I've uninstalled, updated .net, and re-installed with antivirus turned off, as per instructions on Spotware's troubleshooting page.

I have noticed the same problem too and even more frustrating when you are running cBots as they all stop running on your charts when you have to force close cTrader becuase it has become unresponsive or very slow.

I am not able to even post any troubleshooting information as cTrader Desktop immediately freezes after opening it, stays in Inactive mode. Three days now and have virtually not used it. Is there anything one can do. Others have tried reinstallation with the same problems still recurring. Thank you.

It has always been slow and I feel it is not really improving in that matter for instance it takes a few minutes to start my profile sadly because quickly operating is critical. . Perhaps upgrading to .latest version of Dot Net Framework from 7 years old 4.0 will do, thouight.

I have the same problem. I submitted the issue using the cTrader reporting tool. The only way that I can run cTrader is if I allocate at least 8Gb to the virtual machine and that is fantastically excessive. I used to be able to run it well on a 2Gb VPS.
