Period Separator Issue

Period Separator Issue

Why the period separator doesn't scale when changing time frame? This is annoying.... In H1, the period separator is separated within 24hrs period. In D1 the separator was separated by monthly. But as seen in the screenshot the separator is drawn on each candle. Please help me how to fix this issue. It is important for me to find out the last week high/low on the H4 or last month high/low on the D1 or yesterday high/low on the H1...

Period separators for D1 timeframe are set on each month change. What you see is probably the grid. Can you try changing you grid color?

Hi Panagiotis,

Here is a screenshot with the period separator set to red.

Also notice the period separator in the windowed indicators and the chart are different.

This issue happens when I change the template in the daily or weekly or higher then change to lower time frame.

Which broker do you use? I cannot reproduce this behavior on Spotware cTrader Beta.

Please try download my templates here https://ufile.io/4ednb

Switch template in the H1 and then go to higher TF H4, D1, Weekly.

Then change to different template on higher TF (Weekly, daily) then go to lower TF like H1, M15

This is issue is so annoying.... I have to restart my cTrader to resolve the issue.
