Calculate amount of partial closed trades

Calculate amount of partial closed trades

Hello Panagiotis

I know how to partial close winning or losing trades, i dont know how to calculate the absolute amount is going to show in history after partially close a trade. Is there any forumla I can use?

Hi Patrick,

It would be roughly the proportion of the closed volume to the position's volume. For example, if you will be closing 50k out of 100k of a position that has unrealized P&L of $10, then the P&L of the closing deal will be $5.
