What do the percentages and figures mean?

What do the percentages and figures mean?

On the watchlist screen below each currency pair there's always a percentage, what does it mean? Example: EURUSD +0.24% +28.30 Sometimes it's negative, sometime positive. What does the +0.24% mean? What does the +28.30 mean?

Thanks for that response. How important is it to pay attention to the daily change in the price of the symbol?
